The Patton Termite & Pest Control family loves Christmas time. The office gets decorated with garland, ribbons, wreaths, trees, and more! Our employee stockings line the halls. Even Bella comes back from the groomer with a festive bow in her hair. Our team also gets to go into people’s homes and see all sorts of festive decorations while providing service. Seeing people’s decked out homes and keeping pests out of their beautiful decorations is definitely a bonus for our technicians. Another thing we love here at Patton Termite & Pest Control is our company holiday party. In years past, we have had an employee lunch during the work day where we’d gather for a meal at a local, Wichita restaurant and have a gift exchange. This year, we mixed it up and tried something different!
The Patton Team’s Country Christmas at Fulton Valley Farms

The Patton holiday party began with a party bus ride. We wanted everyone to have transportation for themselves and their families for the festivities out at Fulton Valley Farms in Towanda, Kansas. The kids loved the party bus and it was a fun way to get everyone together. The drive wasn’t too far from our office on west Kellogg and since we are a local company, we wanted to support another local business in the process.
A Home-cooked Meal

When we arrived, we could see a beautiful, large barn decorated in holiday lights. The space inside the barn was nice and large, giving us enough room for all of our employees and their families to have a meal together. The food was delicious and tasted just like a home-cooked holiday meal. The decorations around the barn and in the center of the tables were perfect. The barn was decked out with trees, lights, a beautiful garland chandelier, and so many other magical Christmas decorations!
A Forest of Lights

After dinner, we all went to walk through the forest of hundreds of lighted trees. At the beginning of the walk were archways of larger-than-life presents stacked up to welcome you to the festive path. The weather was nice, the lights were beautiful, and it was truly a magical Christmas experience. The lights were in sync with the music and which provided a spectacular show. The walk was not too long and not too short, but just right. There was even a real reindeer named Brownie!
Santa… I know him!

The highlight for many of the children, and some of the grown men, was seeing Santa and Mrs. Claus when they stopped by! They have a super busy schedule so it was very nice of them to make an appearance at our company party.
Feeling Thankful
Overall, it was a fantastic evening. The Patton Termite & Pest Control team got to spend time together and with their families. The holidays are such a great time to appreciate what you have, and we appreciate our team of dedicated and genuinely wonderful people who are all definitely on the nice list. We are so thankful and blessed after a night of Christmas fun.
