Attaining the title of Associate Certified Entomologist requires tremendous knowledge and experience. One must have a valid pest control license, a minimum of 5 years pest control experience, have professional letters of reference, and pass the ACE exam. The ACE exam is known to be very extensive and challenging, with a pass rate below 50%. The exam includes, but is not limited to, structural pests, inspection and identification, monitoring, selection and implementation of control methods, and other evaluations. Becoming an Associate Certified Entomologist is not an easy task and it truly sets the person apart as a professional.
